Q magazine is published by Bauer Media. Bauer Media also publishes a range of different magazines for people who like gardening, transport or pets. For gardening they sell Garden Answers, for transport they sell Modern Rail and for pets they sell Pet Product Marketing. Bauer Media publishes these other ranges of magazines in order to increase their sales. Bauer Media also has other media interests like Radio, Online and TV. By having other media interests they are making their media more accessible to their audience.
For Q they have a magazine, a radio station, a TV channel and a online site. This means that people who like Q can easily get the information through a radio station, Tv show or an online site as well as reading it in a magazine. This shows that Bauer Media can use Magazines, Radio, Tv or Online in order to increase their sales and audience.
Bauer Media also publishes another music magazine called Kerrang! This magazine also has a magazine, radio station, TV channel and an online site. Bauer Media own more than one music magazine so they can target more than one audience. Q magazine is a general magazine that features bands and artists from most genre's, whereas Kerrang features indie bands and artists.
Bauer Media might be interested in adding my magazine to their list of titles as my magazine is aimed at audiences who enjoy pop music. Bauer Media currently don't have a magazine for the pop genre. This would enable Bauer Media to increase their profits as they will be getting a new audience.
