Magazine

I used two main fonts on my magazine Zapfino and Century Gothic. I used Zapfino for my masthead because this font looks very elegant which fits in with the name Queen Eliza which sounds royal and elegant. I used Century Gothic for my sell lines because it's a simple font and doesn't drag the attention away from the masthead.
The target audinece for my magazine is male and females between the age of 16 - 18 years old that are taking their A-levels at Qe. For the first issue I mainly based the magazine for first years with information they might need to know like how to print in the library, how much the equipment is in the QE shop and a pull-out map of QE. However I also put information that second years may find useful like university information and year out information. There is also information that both years will find useful like key dates, finance matters and enrichment programmes.
Whilst creating my magazine I used photoshop to create my front cover. I did this using a tool called 'horizontal type tool'. I used this tool to make my masthead and sell lines. I created my contents page on Indesign. I used a photo box to place my photo's onto my contents page.
